[Fresco-devel] Some questions

Hi,

I'm still kind of a linux newb, so I might not make
any sense.  I have a few questions about Fresco.  Will
there need to be windows managers as there are for
X11, or is Fresco more self-contained?  Will it
support 3d hardware acceleration?  Can windows have
drop shadows a la OSX?  One place that linux currently
lags on the desktop is UI appearance, with OSX in the
lead.  I'd like to one day see the linux desktop look
nicer than the competition, is Fresco a gateway to
that?  I still don't think I fully grasp the function
of X, windows managers and desktop environments, so
excuse me if my phrasing is not proper.
