You need either GGI or SDL (or both of course). If you configured with
--disable-ggi then it shouldn't try to build GGI at all, that's a bug in
our build system. I'd guess it is the same one that breaks
--disbale-sdl:-(

Just remove GGI from your build-dir's Makefile or just step into your
build-dir's SDL directory and call make install there (plus any other
optional subproject you want) and you the build should
work out. Sorry for the inconvinience.
