There ahs been a user report that loading the plugins takes very long
(a few minutes).

This could be related to changes in the dllloader, possibly disabling
the bufferedsender optimizations for faster initial plugin loading.

The version where the long startup was observed was
gephex--main--0.4--patch-1893
