playing with darcs

Hi all,

I created an experimental darcs branch of gephex--main--0.5.
To get it, the following command should work fine:

   darcs get http://arch.gephex.org/georg/darcs/gephex--main--0.5

So far, darcs seems really simple and reasonably fast (I did not
do any serious tests yet).
I tried to convert the whole --main--0.5 branch using arch2darcs,
but it failed applying patch-6. arch2darcs seems to have problems
when a directory and files inside it are renamed at the same time
(A/a.txt -> B/b.txt).

One disadvantage of darcs to our current setup with tla seems to be
that darcs does not support WebDAV. Committing to a remote branch
can only be done using ssh or email. So we might have to set something
up that automatically applies incoming patch-emails on gephex.org
(darcs seems to support pgp-signed patches).
Another difference: when using ssh to commit to a remote branch,
darcs is invoked on the remote server (tla does not have this
requirement).

Also, the cgi script to browse darcs branches seems not as nice as
archzoom on the first look.
