[Gimp-developer] How do I register for https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues?label_name%5B%5D=OS%3A+Linux

I have a bug report for Gimp which I want to post to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues?label_name%5B%5D=OS%3A+Linux. Apparently I have to sign in into https://gitlab.gnome.org/users/sign_in since this forum uses the same log in as several others. However I don't understand how to first register for this forum. I have no idea what the terms LDAP means. I stumbled about $userid on the explanatory page https://wiki.gnome.org/AccountsTeam/RetrieveYourGNOMEAccountPassword I tried the shown ssh command, but that returned me just the usage of ssh. echo $userid returned just an empty line. probably something which I do not know has to be substituted for it. But what the hell is sit?
