Hello,

The problems I mentioned in my former mail are in fact due to a stupid
configuration mistake. Sorry...

I was using a GTK+ runtime I installed together with a binary
distribution of GIMP for Windows. I should have used the DLLs built by
my own cross-compilation environment. Now everything works fine.
