Yes, but there probably still are people stupid enough to think
mailing ads to mailing lists like this is OK.

Not in the traditional (USENET) sense of the word (somebody who
approves all messages). I seem to be the single administrator of the
list. I have now removed this Alister Lowe. Sorry for the delay...
