PSD Photoshop file open = crashes

Win-Gimp (new download) crashes every time when trying to open a 
multi-layer photoshop (PSD) file.  The file is created by pano-
tools, an incredible panormaic program.  Photoshop loads the file 
just fine.  (I suspect the gimp dies when it hits the unusual locked 
transparency layers)

Where do I go from here?  Anyone know wo did the psd section?  Is 
there anyone out there who could test this on a non-win32 platform?
