just include <windows.h> if not done yet
and refer to MSDN ;in windows platform SDK
there s a function that does what u need
sorry i don t even remember its name
search with keywords directory and delete or whatever u prefer
http://msdn.microsoft.com/
however this could will be windows specific and won t work under nix

 Is there an easy way to delete directories ( with files ) from within
a program.

 I am running gtk/glib and can compile using MSYS.
