My thoughts are if you have been succesful in building gimp, could you please share your make file with us poor guys that cant figure out what the heck is going on? If someone gets a working copy out of the source, please share and if you could document what you did, what compiler you used and any special things that had to be done to get it to build would make you a hero to those of us that have been trying for ages to get a working build. Every time I fool with mingw I have fudge around with it for hours, days and sometimes weeks to get it to make a working executable on some ports of things. Thank you in advance for any who are reading and want to contribute to the development of gimp! You may never know, maybe some of us that have had a heck of a time trying to get a build may have some neat tricks up our sleeves to do something that will knock the socks off of a product like Photoshop, and then we could share it with you :D --- In gimpwin-dev@y..., "Bill Nalen" <bill.nalen@t...> wrote: > > Kevin wrote: > > I finally succeeded in building the GIMP (1.2.4) under Windows!!! :-) > > Would you mind putting up a page with detailed instructions on how you > built it?
