hello

i manually installed gtk on my win98. using mcvc++6.0 compiler,
the ff program to test the installation and it compiled with no errors

#include "gtk\gtk.h"


int main2 (void)
{
             GtkWidget *window;
             gtk_init;
             window = gtk_window_new (GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL);
             gtk_widget_show(window);
             return 0;
}
but gave the ff linkage errors
testgtk.cpp

missing argument list
Linking...
testgtk.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol
_gtk_widget_show
testgtk.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol

what may be the problem.
