Can't find wingimp on the net-all download links seem broken

Hi everyone, 

I am new to the group and have never used Gimp, but am looking 
forward to doing so if I can find a working wingimp download link.  
Anyone have any idea on where I can find it?  I don't need 1.2.3, 1.2 
would be fine.  I think Gimp is a really great resource, seeing as I 
have indirectly used it on Flamingtext, which is powered by Gimp I 
believe.  If anyone can point me in the right direction to download 
the program and maybe some tutorials I would really appreciate it. :)
