FWIW, I've had reports that this is happening with my Windows port of 
GKrellm too (which uses gtk 2.0.6 currently).  This leak doesn't happen on 
Linux or on my Windows 2k, but others have reported it.  Same symptoms, 
the memory usage just keeps growing.
