Here's the latest update on Cygwin... We've got a rather old version of Cygwin that we have to use right now (cygwin1.dll says 5-20-2001 ;)... Everything works beautifully. Our application is compiled with the -fnative-struct flag and linked to the prebuilt binaries Tor supplies and it executes just fine (Tested under NT4, 2000 and XP)... however, with the newest version of cygwin we can link it, but not run it due to varying heap errors depending on the platform... go figure... I'd love to know what's changed in the newer version... sun-rpc doesn't work either anymore :( Getting a native cygwin build is still a priority though as we would eventually like to go to the newest Cygwin... I'll post links for the binaries if I meet with any sort of success ;) -Tim >From: "Bill Nalen" <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [gimpwin-dev] Tor - cygwin build issues... >Date: Fri, 6 Dec 2002 18:35:27 -0500 > >Tor wrote: > >I wonder why nobody is offering prebuilt Cygwin versions of GLib and > >GTK+.
