Hello, Recently, Sven Neumann was kind enough to implement fixes for a couple of bugs that are very important in my usage of the GIMP (bug numbers 94979 and 103030). FYI, these problems have to do with infinite loops and other serious problems that result from flawed routines that determine the scale of an image when it is initially displayed in the user interface. The problems only surface for images with at least one very large dimension. I need to get these fixes applied to a Windows version of the GIMP absolutely as soon as possible, but my porting and building skills are relatively weak. I've succeeded in building the GIMP under Windows once before, but I didn't completely know what I was doing, it required a LOT of trial and error and time, and some things didn't really seem to build just like they were actually supposed to. Even though I did keep some fairly detailed notes (and posted them to this list), I'm not sure if I could successfully repeat the process in any reasonable amount of time. So, I was hoping that one of you might have time to put together a new 1.2.x binary distribution of the GIMP from the files presently in CVS, or at least a new GIMP executable. Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
