When a call is made to BeginPaint(HWND, PAINTSTRUCT), it fills in the struct paintstruct. One of the variables in this paintstruct is RECT rcPaint. This RECT contains the coordinates of the invalid (obscured) region of your window. See the msdn information http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/pantdra w_7b78.asp at that page. Not sure if this would help you out at all, but I thought it might. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Zelezny" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2003 19:55 Subject: Re: [gimpwin-dev] GC graphics_exposures > On Thu, 23 Jan 2003 22:12:12 +0000 > Tor Lillqvist <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > I don't know how to emulate that in Win32, off-hand, but I will > > > investigate. > > > > I wonder if using ScrollWindowEx() with SW_INVALIDATE instead of > > BitBlt() in blit_inside_window() would help?
