When a call is made to BeginPaint(HWND, PAINTSTRUCT), it fills in the struct
paintstruct. One of the variables in this paintstruct is RECT rcPaint. This
RECT contains the coordinates of the invalid (obscured) region of your
window. See the msdn information
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/pantdra
w_7b78.asp at that page. Not sure if this would help you out at all, but I
thought it might.
