Printing with GIMP 2.4 (workaround)

Hi all,

As shown in a recent thread, the new GTK print plugin of GIMP 2.4 is 
buggy; it is unusable on my HP printer (impossible to set some printer 
parameters).

I would not revert to GIMP 2.2 only for printing and I don't want to use 
another application for that task, because I am using a script-fu to 
format my output (print one or several images on one A4 sheet with some 
specific parametrizations).

I was happy with the print module of GIMP 2.2, and I discovered that 
this module works with GIMP 2.4 too:
- extract the file winprint.exe from the lib\GIMP\2.0\plug-ins of the 
GIMP 2.2 installation
- copy it in the corresponding directory of a GIMP 2.4 installation.

Fortunately, this plug-in is compiled for an environment compatible with 
the two versions of GIMP, but for the future, it would be nice if it was 
possible to keep this "winprint" plugin in the Windows version of GIMP; 
the corresponding menu item could be renamed as "WinPrint" in order to 
avoid  confusion with the GTK print plugin.
