Just type in the path to a folder on a network share in the "Location" field of dialog and press Enter. (Press the icon in the top-left corner if you cannot see the "Location" field.) For example, if you have a server called "myserver" and it has a share called "stuff", type in \\myserver\stuff and press Enter. If you map a server share as a drive letter you will see that drive letter in he file dialog. > i'm looking in save menu window in left side cannot find network > neighboorhood. Yes, Network Neighborhood -like functionality is missing from the GTK+ file chooser on Windows. (GTK+ is the so-called widget toolkit that GIMP uses.) This is not something that is likely to get fixed by itself without anybody working on it. > my suggestion maybe next relasese the save and open file dialog menu > refered to standard windows not to "custom made" dialog box. This is easier to say than to do. --tml [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] List archives: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gimpwin-users/> To unsubscribe send a blank message from the address you're subscribed to <mailto:gimpwin-users-unsubscribe-hHKSG33TihhbjbujkaE4pw@public.gmane.org> Yahoo!
