I tried looking for that in The Gimp installation Folder, but could not find a PDF version.
Where can I get the PDF version?

Thanks,

Jay

Is the pdf version of the help manual, you can print and read as a book
 or read offline,

is quite updated, well illustrated and available in a lot of
langauge--- and totally free of cost

All the other book quoted are excellent, but that is really basic
