I'm dual booting it on this machine, and am quite happy finally to have a functional software development environment where all the standard tools "just work", though Cygwin has been close to that level of functionality. I may someday also use Ubuntu to replace the SimplyMepis Linux installation on my old Gateway console, too, if I can find a way to attach that machine to the Internet for acquiring updates. xanthian.
