There's a new painting program which has added support for Lua
scripting based on gluas: Pixarra Twistedbrush
You can now find filters written in Lua that can work for these
applications:
- the GIMP
- Artweaver
- Twistedbrush
- Project Dogwaffle
and a few more non-painting applications (e.g. animation tools) shown
at http://www.thebest3d.com/dogwaffle/lua/#others
