Re: Gimp gets stuck when i do channel to selection.

I had the same experience at work with a Gateway Computer running
Windows XP Professional.  I now have an HP with the same OS with no fan
noise. This appears to be a quirk of design by some manufactures. Maybe
someone can give you help at http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp
