If you want to learn about the more advanced features of GIMP I'd
suggest checking out the book Beginning GIMP: From Novice to
Professional.  While the first couple of chapters would be basic
review for you the later ones cover several more advanced topics.  You
can pick up a cheap copy on amazon as well as view the TOC.  You may
like it and then again you may not.  Just throwing it out there ; )
