Plan to stop producing GraphicsMagick SRPM package

For years the GraphicsMagick project has produced a Red Hat SRPM
distribution package using a spec file which is lightly maintained
(i.e. not verified for years) by the GraphicsMagick project.

Given that every RPM-based system is different, and every RPM-based
system which provides a GraphicsMagick package surely has its own spec
file and its own SRPM package (based on the specific dependency
package names for that system), the value of a SRPM package produced
by the GraphicsMagick project seems dubious. I would like to stop
producing SRPM packages unless there is evidence that this will cause
harm. This does not mean that the ability to produce a sample SRPM
(make distcheck; make srpm) would be going away.

If anyone is aware of serious harm which will be caused by
GraphicsMagick not longer producing a SRPM package, please make me
aware of it.

Thanks,

Bob
