GraphicsMagick.org issues

There have been severe network reliability issues reaching
GraphicsMagick.org since December 22nd. This network is served by a
low-speed DSL line with a routed network which has been in service
since 2001.

It appears that AT&T has replaced its DSL equipment on the other end
and there are interoperability problems with the DSL modem I have (and
I suspect severe problems with the other end as well). AT&T has sent
me a replacement "router" which has no available documentation and has
assured me that it is a trivial undertaking to replace my modem/router
setup with their "router" since all one needs to do is plug it in,
visit a web page, and enter a password. Unfortunately, this is not a
trivial undertaking since this is a routed network with specialized
forwarding/firewall rules which need to be re-created and the "router"
might not even support this capability. Support from AT&T is
non-existent.

In my available free time I have been configuring a much more robust
new router which I hope to use with AT&T's "router" in bridged mode.
Since it is already Wednesday, it won't be until this weekend that I
can take a stab at replacing the hardware.

All is well with the systems which comprise my network and hopefully
GraphicsMagick.org (and simplesystems.org) will return to normal
function soon.
