GraphicsMagick Benchmark Report

I have created a simple benchmark based on 'convert' and used it to 
compare GraphicsMagick 1.2 and ImageMagick 6.3.6 performance.  The 
results show that GraphicsMagick 1.2 is almost always faster than 
ImageMagick, and often quite remarkably so.  The (tiny) benchmark is 
available for download so that anyone can perform their own 
comparisons on their own hardware.

This benchmark run is on ordinary Intel hardware.  The differences are 
more spectacular on the Apple PowerPC G5 and some other CPU types, but 
I wanted the results to be representative of what most people would 
experience.
