You are suggesting that GraphicsMagick should come with JMagick? This is something that I proposed to the JMagick author before but he did not respond. It is pretty clear that most "JMagick" bugs reported in the JMagick mailing list are due to binary incompatability between the JMagick DLL and the ImageMagick DLL, or due to the enumeration values in JMagick not matching those in ImageMagick. GraphicsMagick has a much more stable interface than ImageMagick, but even with GraphicsMagick there would be more assurance of correctness if JMagick was bundled.
