MagickSetCompressionQuality() was added to GraphicsMagick's Wand library in the 1.3.7 release on September 17, 2009. The request was from a gmagick developer. I don't know if gmagick has included support for this API yet. Make sure that your GraphicsMagick and gmagick are up to date.
