It is looking like we will need to bump the Magick++ ABI for the next
GraphicsMagick release due to new features added to the Geometry class
and my lack of foresight 15 years ago to make this possible without
changing the class footprint. This means that dependent applications
would need to be re-built in order to use the new library. Existing
applications would continue running just fine with the previous
version of the Magick++ library (which can use the updated
GraphicsMagick core C library), provided that the operating system
supports shared library versioning.

The GraphicsMagick ABI has been upward compatible since November, 2008
so this would be a change from the norm.

I would appreciate some feedback as to whether the Magick++ userbase
will be negatively impacted by this in some significant way.
