Missing paint radius

Hi, all.
 
 Sys info: RH9, i686.
 
 I've installed graphicsmagick from source code for the first time.
 Most of the install processes seemed to be ok except "PerlMagick && 
 /usr/bin/perl5.8.0 Makefile.PL WARNING: LDFLAGS is not a known parameter".
 
 I encountered following messages when I executed make check.
