Hello. I am seeing sometimes a bug in the conversion of a file, which generates a 'Missing Huffman code table entry' error message. If we open up the generated file, only a part of it will be there. I have already found several threads about that problem, but it seems that nobody really cought an image producing this bug. Now i have been able to find a picture which produces this bug, but it is interesting to note that it only happens sometimes, not all times. Therefore, you will have to do the conversion for about 20 times to be sure to see this bug happening on your side. The picture that I link to is the one I found which produces the most this problem. i have other ones which only produces this problem one time on 50 maybe. This is why such a picture was difficult to get! Here is the conversion command that I enter: convert -quality 100 001-011.tif output_file.jpg Here is where this picture can be found: http://www.edenpics.com/pub/bugs/001-011.tif I am using CentOS 4.3 version with all updates (2006-07-10), with ImageMagick V6.0.7.1-14 Please also note this post which seems o provide some interesting information: http://www.asmail.be/msg0054571433.html It's like if some variable wouldn not be initialised properly somewhere. Hope this helps to finally find out this long dated bug.. Kind regards, Daniel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
