Thanks for the feedback. I noticed this annoying dependency myself.
It used to be that this library was small and readily available but
now it requires downloading a large SDK. I will get rid of the
dependency.
Removing the dependency seems as simple as editing
VisualMagick/configure.cpp and commenting out the line that looks
like:
lib_shared_list.push_back("dxguid.lib");
Then the configure program needs to be re-built.
