         I can't see any reason this would be a bad idea - so sure, go 
ahead and make the change and submit the patch.

         No pressure felt here!  I just wanted to give you a heads up that 
the issue has been around a while and that it's not cut & dried...

         Feel free.  I did a bunch of stuff to IM that never got checked in 
due to Christy's decisions in the old days and stuff that was only useful 
for me...

         But do let us know what they are, if you are willing to share 
them, and we can discuss it at the time...
