I'm looking at it. *) ImageMagick chose the name OpacityQuantum for 'O', whereas 'A' in GM corresponds to an OpacityMapQuantum. *) If we use 'T' for transparency, that ought to have a TransparencyMapQuantum, no? But 'T' is equivalent to 'A' which already has OpacityMapQuantum. So what should the MapQuantum type be? Thanks, -- David N.
