PCD reader broken in GM 1.2

The PhotoCD reader is broken in GM 1.2 (many pixels are saturated red, 
green, or blue) but works in 1.1. If I copy the coder (pcd.c) from 1.1 
to 1.2, it fails the same as the 1.2 version.  So something in the 
rest of the code is breaking it.  It is a mystery to me.

It seems like the most likely cause is the YCCColorspace colorspace 
translation since the colorspace code has been worked on since 1.1 but 
I don't see a reason for a problem.

Please let me know if you notice why it is broken.
