SourceForge Terms

It has come to my attention that SourceForge is soon planning to 
switch to new usage terms.  See

A careful reading of those terms reveals that it is not possible for 
an open source developer to comply with the new (and existing) 
SourceForge terms without forfeiting the stated protections of the 
software license to both disclosed and undisclosed parties.  In fact, 
the SourceForge terms entirely strip license protections from open 
source contributors who participate in SourceForge.

SourceForge is also requiring that all code uploaded to the site use 
an "OSI-Approved License".  It is not possible for the GraphicsMagick 
project to force existing code which is normally uploaded to use an 
"OSI-Approved License".  GraphicsMagick often depends on code which 
does not use an "OSI-Approved License".

This direction that SourceForge is taking seems to put the 
GraphicsMagick project in an indefensible position and perhaps it 
needs to find a new home.
