I have not applied or tested the patch.  I did not see any significant 
issues with the changes which would keep it from being used.

Please submit the patch into the GraphicsMagick bug tracker in the 
"Patches" section so that I don't forget and the patch does not get 
lost somewhere in my mail folder.  This also helps assure that the 
patch is not corrupted by a mail system.
