xc.la module file?

I just installed cvs graphicsmagick and tried:

      Image image("9x10","white");
      image.write("gtri.png");

with Magick++. Running it gets me:

Caught: Magick: Unable to access module file (/usr/local/lib/GraphicsMagick-1.1/modules-Q8/coders/xc.la) reported by module.c:541 (FindMagickModule)

% ls -l /usr/local/lib/GraphicsMagick-1.1/modules-Q8/coders
total 8
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  3343 Jun 26 17:05 modules.mgk

which isn't today... I did see this during the install though:

mkdir -m 0755 -p -- /usr/local/share/GraphicsMagick-1.1/config
 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 log.mgk /usr/local/share/GraphicsMagick-1.1/config/log.mgk
 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 modules.mgk /usr/local/share/GraphicsMagick-1.1/config/modules.mgk
 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 magic.mgk /usr/local/share/GraphicsMagick-1.1/config/magic.mgk

So it seems my modules.mgk are confused, but why would the apparently
new library look in the old place? How do I unconfuse things?

Cheers,

Patrick
