It may not seem much like image processing, but I am quite happy to
be able to say that the latest GraphicsMagick 1.1 snapshot now passes
the gruelling 'make distcheck' torture tests. This is an alternate
make target for preparing distributions. Unlike the normal 'dist'
target which simply creates tarballs, passing the 'distcheck' target
proves the following for the default configure options:

o no necessary files are missing from the package.
o the testsuite is able to run without first doing an install.
o the testsuite passes all tests.
o the 'clean' target removes every single file that was created.
o the 'uninstall' target removes all installed files.
  o make 'install' DESTDIR=/foo works.
  o make 'uninstall' DESTDIR=/foo works.

This has never been accomplished before in ImageMagick &
GraphicsMagick history since the package is so complicated, and
particularly due to embedding PerlMagick.
