Thanks for telling me about the .net wrapper. That led me to
   magickviewer.codeplex.com

which seems to be a web interface to GM (I say seems because I have not
used .net). What are the chances it would work on Mono? That question was
hypothetical, and should be asked elsewhere! (my guess is yes).

My plan is to do a system which can batch-process many images, applying a
'macro' sequence of GM transforms to each image. It will be controlled in
the context of a web service of course.
