blob.c : ImageToBlob : depth not considered ?

Hi Bob,
the question is regarding the design of ImageToBlob ? When I call the
following

ImageToBlob(pImage_info,pImage,&nLength,pExceptionInfo);


then the pImage_info->depth is not considered at all.

Is this correct? (ImateToBlob calls constitute.c/WriteImage, which
considers/copies *dither*, but not *depth*)
