This does not fix Ghostscript though since Ghostscript produces its 
own error messages.  When Ghostscript is used as a DLL or shared 
library, it produces unsolicited error dumps which are not really 
under the using-program's control.  When Ghostscript is used as an 
external program, then its error output could be redirected to a file.
