I'm curious, a cursory look suggests to me that an inkscape api
integration would have a brighter future than opvp or poppler-glib,
but that's just a guess, there's also http://processing.org/

Integration sounds like a nice project. I would post some coin on a
bid for programmers site if you would mentor takers? I would love to
have it, but for now I've given up graphviz and Latex (font and
packaging issues) for other packages but hopeful to return.
