Well, that was no fun. I've wrestled the current stable release
(graphviz-2.34.0.tar.gz) into compiling, and although I had
issue with "sudo make install" such I had to explcitly
use "/usr/local/bin/dot" as the command...

it gives too-large-images in exactly the same way as
2.26 :-(
