This broke in 2.28 during the conversion to floating point coordinates.
I have put in a fix, but if you want a seamless join, you should use
[shape=point width=0] for the
dummy node, for the reasons I explain in the bug report
http://www.graphviz.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=2484. In any case, that's a
lot simpler than using all the
other attributes.
