Thanks for your answer. Apparently it's a feature that doesn't fit
with graphviz policy and that's fine (better that then bloat the
program) and it should be possible to modify the script linked in my
first message to do just that.
I am not familiar with the svg specs (and little time to study it) so
I suppose I will rewrite the FSM in libreoffice impress to have more
control now that I have an idea how it should look like.
