Cropping with compositor?

Hi everyone,

is there any way to achieve cropping of input video streams with compositor, 
without using extra videocrop/videobox elements?

I'm currently assuming no, but maybe there's some tweak I overlooked? I'm using 
1.20.3 at the moment.
