The audiomixing is not the issue. The issue is that whatever is receiving the data creates a thread for each participant (presumably from RTP). The threadsharing plugin aim to reduce the number of threads in such a scenario. You can feed multiple audiomixer sink pads all from a single thread if you are very careful.
