hi all, i have some doubts in jvt standard. the standard says, if constrained_intra_pred_flag is equal to 0, we can use the neighbouring inter macroblock residual data and decoded samples for the prediction of intra macroblocks. that means the current macro block is coded in intra prediction mode and left or top macroblock is coded in inter prediction mode. but the prediction mode (intra or inter) is same for all macroblocks within the same slice. which implies the neighbouring macroblocks belong to a different slice. if such is the case that macro block is not available for the current macro block as per the standard. then no question of considering any of the params of neighbouring macro blocks. can any one explain where i am going wrong. thanks and regards mohan __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
