There is a similar error on 2bit tiff file (http://rapidshare.com/files/237877436/000M_V00049_18640000_18640000_1864_000_001_000_0005.tif 
)

A question: do you plan to correct also the colorspace tag (the value  
is fixed for all the image types)?

A proposal: why don't you align the identify output to NISO-IMAGE tags  
name (like EXIF)?
